The Good Hope Presbyterian Church (GHPC) is the first of a planned three-phase development for the GHPC congregation. Phase I includes the initial site work, and the conversion of an existing house into a 7,500 square foot chapel with support spaces for the congregation of approximately 125 people.
As the congregation grows, Phase II of the Master Plan will add a main sanctuary and worship area to support an anticipated congregation of 500 people. An educational building is planned for Phase III. All phases will be connected by a U-shaped courtyard.
The chapel was completed in 2006, and was built largely through the contribution of time and materials from the congregation.
Sanchez Palmer Architects is the architect of record for this project. Jim Palmer was the design architect.
