iCAN Theater Lab

THEARC Black Box is the home to the iCAN Technical Theater Internship and iCAN Training Classroom (Lower Level). The internship program provides a venue for youth to discover varying areas of the production arts while developing their talents & specific technical skills. Participants also have the opportunity to work on real-world productions in both the lab theater and the 365 seat performance theater on THEARC’s campus. Additionally the Black Box is home to the custom Frederick Douglass Animatron which is available for educational sessions to school groups and other special programs.
