Long-term thinking informs near-term implementation

 

Organizations with multiple buildings and outdoor areas can greatly benefit from a structured planning effort that integrates site & building constraints and opportunities with requirements of current and projected program needs. Identifying long-range masterplanning goals allows organizations to plan complex developments in well organized phases.

Small projects can advance a big idea

 

Organizations are often not in a position to take on large-scale, transformative projects but still need to make smaller, incremental improvements on a regular basis to respond to changing needs. Considered in isolation these individual projects over time can lead to disjointed and chaotic facilities with no cohesive concept. Starting with a big idea allows smaller, individual projects to find a place that makes sense over time.

Consider the possibilities

 

Developing a vision for facilities in line with an operational strategic plan can be a catalyst for action. New ideas for programs and mission might require new or revamped facilities to support them and linking these two planning efforts will result a complete solution with clear goals. Sometimes a big idea is more compelling than a series of smaller ones.
