THEARC West

Building on the success of the original community center, this new building at the Town Hall Recreation & Arts Campus (THEARC) expands existing programs and offers space for new partner organizations. The center is run by the non profit organization Building Bridges Across the River (BBAR) whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults who reside east of the Anacostia River. The campus is home to a unique collaboration of partner organizations that provide access to high quality education, health, cultural, recreation, and social welfare programs.
